San Francisco-based XOJet has announced a partnership with Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways, the national carrier of the United Arab Emirates. Under the cooperative agreement, XOJet charter customers who hold Preferred or Elite Access status will automatically earn Gold status in Etihad Guest, the airline’s frequent flier loyalty program, the first time they book a ticket using the airline’s The Residence accommodation.

The Residence consists of a private three-chamber suite aboard an Etihad Airbus A380, including a double bedroom and private bath. The service includes a butler and dedicated chef, and is available on flights between New York JFK Airport and Abu Dhabi. Also, eligible XOJet clients will receive complimentary chauffeur service and airside connections, dedicated concierge service and access to passenger lounges, where available.

Etihad passengers, in turn, will gain access to XOJet’s 24/7 charter booking for flights on its Bombardier Challenger 300s and Cessna Citation Xs. First-time Etihad-XOJet fliers will receive complimentary catering and a promotional $2,000 credit toward their first charter booking.
