Mena Technics entered into a strategic alliance with Inter-Tec to offer precision engineering design services. The partnership expands the services Mena Technics will be able to offer its clients as well as provides for future collaborations.
Established by parent company Mena Aerospace in Bahrain in November 2015, Mena Technics provides ground services and line maintenance to regional airline clients. The maintenance provider operates from Mena Aerospace’s 69,000-sq-ft/6,400-sq-m hangar and aviation complex at Bahrain International Airport.
“We are delighted to explore new opportunities for collaboration and expansion for both Mena Technics and Inter-Tec,” said MENA Aerospace managing director Mohamed Juman.
Founded in 1997, UK-based Inter-Tec provides aviation design, certification and training services for both the fixed and rotary-wing segments. In 2012, the company received EASA Part 21 Subpart J Design Organization Approval for modifications and repairs on aircraft and helicopters, which rapidly expanded its position in the market. As its presence continued to increase in the Middle East, Inter-Tec secured UAE GCAA Design Organization Approval in 2013.
