StandardAero and Cycle Aviation Ink Support Deal
Ariz.-based StandardAero will provide PT-6 turboprop engine service at two East Coast Cycle Aviation MRO locations.

StandardAero, an Arizona-based worldwide designated distributor and overhaul network for the Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A, has signed a service partnership agreement with U.S. East Coast MRO provider Cycle Aviation. Cycle operates locations at Virginia's Leesburg Executive Airport and Maryland's Hagerstown Regional Airport.

Under the new agreement, Cycle will provide airframe services to operators of PT6A-powered aircraft while StandardAero will serve as the preferred engine maintenance provider at the two facilities. Standard Aero’s on-site technicians will perform engine removal and installations, line maintenance, hot section inspections, overhauls and upgrades for Cycle Aviation customers. The agreement further expands StandardAero’s network of service providers around the world.

“We are pleased to deliver this new service partnership program with Cycle Aviation,” said Todd Vanderhyde, director of sales for StandardAero. â€śOffering complementary airframe and engine services provides a high level of efficiency and reduces aircraft downtimes" for operators, he added.
