Heli-One Joins P&WC Field Support Network
The Canadian MRO provider has a long history of servicing Pratt & Whitney Canada powerplants.

Canadian helicopter MRO services provider Heli-One has been named a field maintenance support member of the Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) service center network. The Delta, British Columbia-based company joins a group of highly trained and specially equipped maintenance firms that can be deployed by the engine maker as a mobile repair team (MRT). Heli-One has extensive experience with P&WC engines, particularly the PT6T and PT6C-67, for which it also offers accessory repair and overhaul services.

MRTs such as Heli-One can provide services such as emergency troubleshooting, engine condition surveys, hot section inspection, power section repair, accessory changes, borescope inspections and engine removal and installation.

“Heli-One will now be able to support PT6Ts and PT6Cs around the world,” said company president Anthony DiNota. “We are excited to join this elite network of MRTs and to be able to expand Pratt & Whitney Canada’s maintenance coverage. Our engine technicians have supported the PT6 for years and have developed a unique knowledge base through supporting engines in a variety of mission profiles.”

Heli-One also has locations in Stavanger, Norway; Fort Collins, Colo.; and Rzeszow, Poland.
