DAC International Receives Mexican STC
The Mexican civil aviation authority approved DAC for the installation of the Esterline CMA-6800 Display.

Avionics distributor DAC International, an Austin, Texas-based subsidiary of Aero Precision Holdings, has received approval from the Mexican civil aviation authority (DGAC) for the Part 25 approved model list (AML) for the Esterline CMA-6800 panel display. The AML includes the Hawker 800/800XP and 1000; Bombardier’s Challenger 601-3A/3R, Dash 8-100/200/300 and 415 Superscooper; Cessna Citation 650; Dassault Falcon 900; Fokker 50; and the Gulfstream III. Besides the DGAC certification, DAC also expects approval from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) within the next few months.


DAC president Cisco Hernandez said, “This will allow our Mexican customers the opportunity to install the new display and meet the applicable specifications for safe operation in accordance with the standards, procedures and regulations required by the Direccion General de Aeronautica Civil.”
