The Paragon Network, a group of independent elite FBOs, has welcomed several new members to its ranks. Platinum Air Center at Jack Edwards National Airport (JKA) in Gulf Shores, Ala., Business Air at Texas’s Denton Enterprise Airport (DTO) and Indy Jet at Indianapolis Regional Airport (MQJ) are the latest to join the group, bringing the current total to 25 members in the U.S. and Caribbean.
Platinum Air Center, which opened this month as the third service provider at JKA, will operate out of a temporary facility until its new $5 million terminal is constructed. Indy Jet, the lone provider at MQJ, features a recently renovated lobby and pilots' lounge, along with an executive conference room and flight planning facility. Business Air at DTO has served the North Texas aviation community for more than 15 years. It charges no ramp fees, offers complimentary GPU usage and has a fleet of new refuelers.
To join the network, FBOs undergo a facility audit conducted by Paragon Aviation. Each member FBO must also comply with a set of core standards to remain in the group. The Paragon Network was founded in 2011.
