In advance of the FAA’s implementation of its ADS-B rebate program, which is expected to take effect in the third quarter of this year, FreeFlight Systems is offering owners of U.S.-registered aircraft a $500 Bridge Rebate Program when they buy one of the company’s ADS-B and Waas GPS solutions. The $500 rebate is available now, but owners must take delivery of their system by September 30 “or when the FAA’s ADS-B rebate program goes live later this fall, whichever comes first,” according to FreeFlight. The system also must be installed by the end of this year.
Unlike the FAA’s rebate program, the FreeFlight Bridge rebate is available for airplanes and helicopters, all makes and models, the company added, “and is not limited to one per owner, opening the door to multi-aircraft operators, such as flight schools and fleets.”
The FreeFlight rebate is offered for the Rangr Blue FDL978XVR or FDL978XVR/G ADS-B systems or 1203C Waas/GPS sensor.
