ExcelAire Expands on West Coast With Oakland Office
New York-based ExcelAire is basing an Embraer Legacy 650 at its new base in Oakland, California.

Aircraft management and charter group ExcelAire has opened an office at Oakland International Airport in California. The move, announced today, will boost the New York-based company’s presence on the U.S. West Coast. It is already basing one of its four Embraer Legacy 650s at the new location.

“There is incredible demand for private jet charter service in the San Francisco Bay area, and to better serve our customers there and meet that demand, we opened this new office in Oakland,” stated Greg Brinkman, ExcelAire president. “Now we can provide our customers with access to our offices on both the East and West Coasts, for their added convenience, while continuing to deliver unmatched levels of service to our aircraft owners and charter customers.”

ExcelAire’s headquarters is a 200,000-sq-ft facility at MacArthur Airport in Long Island, N.Y. The company is part of the Hawthorne Global Aviation Services group and its 12-aircraft fleet consists of a mix of light, medium, super-midsize and heavy jets.
