NATA Award Recognizes Pentastar for Maintenance
Award recognizes employer's commitment to technician training.

Pentastar Aviation has been recognized with a Three Star Award through the National Air Transportation Association’s (NATA) Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) Employer Award Program. The award recognizes aviation maintenance organizations dedicated to providing quality maintenance services through the encouragement and support of AMT training. To receive a Three Star Award, operators must have at least 75 percent of their AMTs participating in qualified training events.

“A well trained staff is a critical component to delivering industry-leading MRO services,” said Greg Schmidt, Pentastar president and CEO. “This award is a reflection of Pentastar’s steadfast commitment to professional development, continuous improvement and service excellence.”

Pentastar Aviation’s MRO division employs more than 80 people on maintenance, avionics and interior services. Schmidt will attend the annual NATA Industry Excellence Awards Luncheon during NATA’s Aviation Business Conference in Washington, D.C., on June 9 to accept the award.
