Aviation insurer Swiss Re Corporate Solutions expanded its presence in North America with a new regional team that operates out of the company's office in Santa Ana, Calif. This team includes dedicated general aviation underwriters, assistants and claims representatives.

“The new general aviation team in Santa Ana showcases our commitment to the North American aviation insurance market and enables us to strengthen relationships in the region” said Paul O’Ryan, who heads Swiss Re’s general aviation insurance business in North America. “Brokers and clients on the West Coast will benefit from having aviation insurance experts in their own time zone.”

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions offers a broad range of aviation insurance products, from physical aircraft damage insurance to liability coverage for air traffic control. The company also has dedicated aviation teams in Brisbane, London, Munich, New York, Singapore, Sydney, Toronto and Zurich.
