Atlantic Aviation has broken ground for a major new FBO redevelopment at its location in Portland, Ore. The $25 million project is expected to be complete in February 2017 and will include a new 12,000-sq-ft terminal, two 30,000-sq-ft hangars with office and maintenance shop space, a 90,000-gallon fuel farm and a 5,000-sq-ft ground support building.
“This project exemplifies Atlantic’s continuing commitment to reinvesting in our infrastructure,” said CEO Lou Pepper. The company now has over 60 locations around the U.S., and almost half of these include aircraft maintenance facilities. The FBOs at Portland and Eugene, Ore., and Sun Valley, Idaho, include support facilities run by Atlantic Aviation divisions Flightcraft and Proair.
