With NBAA’s 27th annual Schedulers and Dispatchers Conference (SDC) under way in Tampa, Fla., show organizers have declared that it is the most successful show in the event’s history, eclipsing even the 25th anniversary edition held two years ago in New Orleans. This year's SDC featured a record 517 exhibitors on the show floor in the Tampa Convention Center, up nearly 14 percent from last year’s tally of 454.

The 2016 show also set a new bar for attendance, cracking the 2,800-attendee mark for the first time, and breaking the previous high of 2,737. The four-day show, which ends Friday afternoon, includes two general sessions (a feature added last year) and 29 educational sessions with topics including aircraft security, workplace diversity and scheduling information for foreign destinations such as China, India, and Brazil.

Next year’s show will be held from February 7 to 10 in Fort Worth, Texas.
