Business aviation data firm JetNet is announcing two new features—airport/FBO view and estimated airframe times—for its Evolution Aerodex service this week at the 2016 NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference in Tampa, Fla. Aerodex is a version of aircraft marketplace service Evolution that is tailored specifically for FBOs, MROs and other service providers that need access to the company’s database of worldwide aircraft owners and operators, but have no need for aircraft-for-sale market data.
The airport/FBO view in Aerodex supplies an analysis tool for companies providing or looking to provide operational support at a specific airport. With this feature, users can see individual aircraft, owners, operators and companies located in or around a given airport, as well as the flight activity at a specific airport, including individual flights, most common types of aircraft, and most common origins and destinations.
Meanwhile, the estimated-airframe-times feature offers insight into individual aircraft usage. Flight hour and cycle time data can be viewed on detailed aircraft pages or filtered to identify such things as aircraft with higher or lower utilization rates.
The company is offering both as a free upgrade for existing subscribers.
