Jet Aviation Vienna Expands Authorizations
Jet Aviation opened shop in Vienna in September 2014 with plans to expand capabilities to a range of aircraft.

Jet Aviation Vienna secured European Aviation Safety Agency approval to conduct line maintenance on the Gulfstream GV-SP/G550 series. The EASA nod expands the facility’s range of authorizations, which also cover Cessna Citation and various Bombardier Learjet, Challenger and Global models.

Jet Aviation opened shop in Vienna in September 2014 through agreements with GATE V and FAME, the previous MRO and FBO providers at Vienna International Airport. The Vienna facility, with a new 4,000-sq-m (43,056-sq-ft) hangar facility and 2,000 sq m (21,528 sq ft) of shops and office space, immediately began operating as a Cessna Authorized Service Center, along with providing line maintenance and AOG support for the Challenger 300. But plans called for expanding those capabilities to more aircraft, including other Bombardier, Falcon and Gulfstream models.

Along with the Gulfstream designations, the facility provides scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and AOG services for Citations; line and base maintenance and AOG support for Bombardier Challenger 300s; and line maintenance for Learjets and Global 5000s.
