The German Federal Aviation Office has granted Atlas Air Service the license to supervise Embraer Executive Jets as a continuing airworthiness management organization (Camo+). This designation, which took effect on November 13, pertains to maintaining and verifying the continous airworthiness of components and aircraft.
As a certified Camo+ organization, Atlas Air Service can perform the entire airworthiness management for the Phenom 100 and 300, as well as the Legacy 600 and 650, and will coordinate the aircraft's scheduled maintenance. The MRO can also take care of all related documentation, including the implementation of Service Bulletins and Airworthiness Directives, in addition to flight hours and cycles, and will verify and certify airworthiness.
Atlas Air Service employs 250 staff members across four locations in Bremen, Ganderkesee, Paderborn and Augsburg, Germany. The MRO also specializes in Cessna Citation and Beechcraft Hawker aircraft. In addition to its MRO business, the company sells new Embraer business jets and Bell helicopters, as well as pre-owned aircraft. Atlas Air also offers parts sales, non-destructive materials testing, pilot training in cooperation with the Lufthansa Training Flight School and the management and operation of business jets.
