Airbus Corporate Jets is providing a tailored maintenance tracking system from CAMP Systems for its more than 170 ACJ owners and operators worldwide, the company announced on Tuesday at NBAA 2015. CAMP is a specialist in the provision of maintenance management services for corporate jets, and already provides its service for around 70 Airbus corporate jets.
âWe are committed to helping customers and operators get the best from their Airbus aircraft, and this new service answers their needs,â said Benoit Defforge, managing director of Airbus Corporate Jets. âComputerized aircraft maintenanceâCAMPâfor ACJ is a fully digital solution, available on any computer, smartphone or tablet with Internet access,â he added.
A typical large-cabin aircraft such as an ACJ easily has more than 2,000 components that require inspection, service and replacement tasks to be performed and monitored. CAMP keeps a comprehensive database of aircraft maintenance requirements, which include Airbusâs latest maintenance manual revisions, maintenance planning documents, the illustrated parts manual, Airworthiness Directives and recommended maintenance programs for the ACJ.
