Hands On: HUD and Fly-by-Wire Enhances Legacy 500
In the middle of next year Embraer will offer optional head-up display with enhanced and synthetic vision for the Legacy 450 and 500.
We set the primary flight display on the Rockwell Collins Pro Line Fusion flight deck in the Legacy 500 with synthetic vision (left), enhanced vision (top right) and synoptics (bottom right). From 10,000 feet, the enhanced-vision cameras highlight clouds, roads and lights on the ground as well as stars in the black sky. (Photo: Matt Thurber)
