Software Update Boosts Gulfstream G280 Performance
Upgrade allows slower approach speeds, shorter landing distances and enhanced flight management system performance.
An avionics software upgrade released for the super-midsize Gulfstream G280 results in slower approach speeds, shorter landing distances and enhanced flight management system performance. Approach speeds are lowered by nine knots and the landing distance was shortened by nearly 300 feet to 2,380 feet. (Photo: Gulfstream Aerospace)
