Basel, Switzerland-based AMAC Aerospace recently completed a C-check on a VIP Airbus A330-200, a project that included the reworking of several cabin interior details in accordance with the customer’s specifications. The project, one of a handful of major VIP aircraft projects that are in the works or recently completed at AMAC Aerospace, was delivered to the client a week ahead of schedule.
The company also signed a contract for the refurbishment of a BBJ 737-700. The project calls for all cabin seats and divans to be stripped and re-upholstered in accordance with a new approved design package and a hand-made customized carpet to be installed in the cabin. All cabin work has been certified by AMAC's in-house design organization department.
A BBJ 3 737-900ER was returned to service after a cabin interior re-configuration including upholstery of new VIP seats, the installation of electrical high-low tables and a new VIP handmade carpet. The existing divans have been modified to add more functionality and better comfort. AMAC also signed a heavy base maintenance contract for a Boeing 777-200 which includes multiple cabin modifications. These projects follow last month's delivery of a completed VVIP Boeing 747-8i.
