Gulfstream Targets Latin America with New Reps
Aerocardal, one of the largest charter and FBOs in Chile, will handle both commercial and government sales for Gulfstream in Chile.

Gulfstream, eying growth of its sales and customer support efforts in Latin America, added three field representatives in the region and named Aerocardal Limitada as its sales representative in Chile.

Aerocardal is one of the largest charter and fixed-base operators in Chile, and counts among its 15 aircraft two Gulfstream G150s. Based at Comodoro Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport in Santiago, Chile, Aerocardal will handle both commercial and government sales for Gulfstream.

Gulfstream also increased the number of field service representatives in the region with the additions of Alexandre Nunes Pereira and JoĂŁo De Toni in SĂŁo Paulo, Brazil, and Gerardo Tellez in Toluca, Mexico. Pereira previously spent 15 years with Embraer, including three as a field service representative. De Toni has a 25-year aviation career, including 11 years as a field service representative supporting Honeywell. Tellez previously spent four years as director of maintenance for a Toluca-based charter operator that has a G550 in its fleet.

Gulfstream now has more than 50 field service representatives, including five in Latin America. “We’ve seen consistent growth in Latin America in the past five years, with more than 180 Gulfstream aircraft in service in the region,” said Scott Neal, Gulfstream senior v-p of worldwide sales and marketing.
