Union Asks for Single Carrier at Flight Options/Flexjet
IBT 1108 petitioned NMB on July 4 to determine whether Flight Options and sister company Flexjet “constitute ‘a single transportation system.’”
The Embraer Phenom 300 (in foreground) jets originally purchased by Directional Aviation and fielded at its Flight Options division were transferred over to the Flexjet fleet last year following Directional's acquisition of Flexjet. This blurs the lines between the two fractional providers and gives weight to the Flight Options pilot union's request for single-carrier status. (Photo: Flexjet)
