NTSB Releases Video of Accident Analysis
The Safety Board has begun using videos–in addition to written reports–to share lessons learned through investigations into major accidents.

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) tried something new last week by publishing an eight-minute video on its YouTube channel focused on the key lessons pilots of all categories can learn from the investigation of the August 2013 UPS Airbus A300 crash in Birmingham, Ala. It is designed as a companion piece to the NTSB report of the accident issued last September. The NTSB said it plans to produce other videos in the future on major accidents. “This video is another way to reach pilots and aviation safety professionals with the lessons we learned through our investigative work," said NTSB chairman Christopher Hart.
