Cabin interior product specialist B/E Aerospace (Booth H089) has introduced a new low-footprint LED lighting system. Known as 3X Nano, the system has been developed with Emteq under the B/E Aerospace Lighting & Integrated Systems banner. It is claimed to offering the smallest 28V DC wash light footprint available, measuring just 0.41 x 0.31 inches, and a weight of 1.5 oz/ft.
3X Nano offers flexible installation options, including the use of existing aircraft wiring and controls. It features Ballast-Logic to eliminate the need for ballast, and is available with step or PRM dimming, and in white and multi-white color options. Multiple white temperature options allow the lighting to be set to a value when installed, or to be mixed during flight between values of 3500K to 5700K. The system is expected to make high-quality LED lighting upgrades available to many more operators.
Currently in the process of delivery is a custom completion of a Bombardier aircraft by Innotech Aviation. A key element of the cabin upgrade is a Quasar II full-spectrum mood lighting system from B/E Aerospace, including up and down wash lighting, and a Swarovski crystal chandelier that incorporates the Quasar Flex flexible lighting.
