The 15th annual European Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (EBACE) opens on Tuesday at Switzerland’s Geneva International Airport. Joint organizers NBAA and the European Business Aviation Association (EBAA) are expecting almost 500 exhibiting companies, approximately 60 business aircraft on static display and more than 13,000 visitors from Europe and beyond for the three-day show.

Among the aircraft making their European debuts at the show are the Bombardier Challenger 650, Embraer Legacy 450 and HondaJet. There will also be a strong focus on Pilatus’s new PC-24 light jet, which made its first flight on Monday at Buochs Airport in Switzerland.

To mark the show’s anniversary, NBAA and EBAA will be honoring four individuals who were instrumental in launching the event: former NBAA president Jack Olcott and senior vice president for conventions and forums Kathleen Blouin, as well as former EBAA chief executive Fernand François and current president Brian Humphries.

As ever, AIN will provide full news coverage of the EBACE show through our award-winning EBACE Convention News daily print publications and also at AINonline and through our AINalerts e-newsletters.
