Embraer Deliveries Make a Slow Start in 1Q 2015
Embraer delivered 12 executive jets in the first quarter of 2015

Embraer made a relatively slow start in terms of aircraft output during the first quarter of 2015, delivering 12 executive aircraft and 20 commercial airliners. This was consistent with the 34 aircraft delivered in the first quarter of 2014 (20 executive jets and 14 airlines), but down on the 82 deliveries achieved in the fourth quarter of 2014 (52 executive jets and 30 airliners).

Business jet deliveries made in the first quarter of this year included nine Phenom 300s and a Phenom 100, as well as two of the new Legacy 500 model. The Brazilian airframer also delivered 20 E175 regional jets.

Over the course of 2015, Embraer expects deliveries of its large executive jets to increase by at least 50 percent over 2014 now that the Legacy 500 is certified. In March, it also predicted that light jet deliveries will slightly decline this year. In 2014, Embraer delivered a total of 116 executive aircraft, including 92 light jets (the Phenoms) and 24 large jets (the Legacy and Lineage families).
