Heli-One’s Canadian MRO facility in Boundary Bay, British Columbia, received aircraft maintenance operations (AMO) approval from the Korean Office of Civil Aviation (KOCA), the CHC Helicopter subsidiary announced on April 7. The company’s aircraft maintenance base in Stavanger, Norway, previously attained this same endorsement.
Its Boundary Bay facility was granted AMO approval for the Bell 212 and 412, AgustaWestland AW139 and Sikorsky S-61 and S-76 helicopters, as well the GE CT-58 and Pratt &Whitney Canada PT6 series engines. “We have extensive global experience supporting government aircraft, offshore fleets and SAR and EMS helicopters, and so can provide customers in the Republic of Korea with exceptional MRO services that enable them to go further, do more and come home safely,” said Heli-One president Anthony DiNota.
Heli-One is able to work on a range of airframes and components from major helicopter and engine manufacturers, including Airbus, Sikorsky, AgustaWestland, Bell, Turbomeca, Pratt & Whitney Canada and GE Aviation.
