Advent Aerospace Spins Off Aircraft Systems Subsidiary
The new company, Advent Aircraft Systems, was founded in 2010 to certify and produce components and systems for aircraft.

Advent Aerospace spun off its Tulsa, Okla.-based Aircraft Systems subsidiary as of April 1, the parent company announced today. Its remaining aircraft cabin interiors companies—Jormac Aerospace and Cabin Innovations—will continue to operate under the Advent Aerospace banner.

“The spin off is a strategic move to optimize operations, marketing and investment in the different product lines and markets of Aircraft Systems and the Advent Aerospace Interiors Group,” said Ken Goldsmith, Advent managing director and president and CEO of Yankee Pacific.

Now known as Advent Aircraft Systems, the spun-off company was founded in 2010 to certify and produce components and systems for aircraft. It began with Advent ABS, an anti-skid braking system for light turbine aircraft that was certified in December 2013 as a retrofit for the Eclipse 500 and is now standard on new Eclipse 550s. The company is working to certify the braking system for other business aircraft, including the Beechcraft King Air B200/300 and Pilatus PC-12.
