Nominations are now open for the 2015 Bombardier Safety Standdown Award that recognizes an individual for their championing of aviation safety. A nominee must be an aviation safety professional who has attended at least one Safety Standdown and has gone above and beyond the minimal job expectations, lives by the framing principles of Safety Standdown and has demonstrated an exceptional dedication, commitment and contribution to aviation safety through their actions and behavior. The nominee consistently encourages others through their personal examples, sets the highest standards for safety in their operation, makes a conscious decision to do the right thing, believes that good is never good enough and is a mentor to others in their pursuit of excellence and professionalism in aviation safety.
