This week at Heli-Expo 2015, FEC Heliports of Cincinnati, Ohio, is showcasing the improved specifications of its rapid-deployment battery-operated helipad lights. The high-intensity LED lights are now available with wireless control, enabling the operation of color, intensity and flash pattern through a remote key fob. When used in conjunction with FEC’s Remote Lighting Controller, the lights can be operated via the aircraft’s radio. The battery lights come in a set of eight in a reinforced case with a built-in charger.
