International trip support provider UAS and fuel distributor Epic Aviation have announced a new strategic alliance, under which Epic’s customers will be able to use their existing accounts at UAS locations worldwide.

“This is a global deal that we are doing,” UAS executive vice president Jay Husary told AIN this morning at the 2015 NBAA Schedulers and Dispatchers Conference in San Jose, Calif. “Now Epic customers will have access to fuel worldwide using UAS’s network.

"UAS has a unique advantage as one of the only service providers in the world that can aggregate the fuel volumes of our general, commercial and military aviation customers,” noted Husary. The company supported more than 100,000 movements last year. “Epic customers will now have access to significantly reduced fuel costs at even the most remote locations around the globe.”

Once the agreement takes effect around the end of this month, UAS’s customers in turn will have access to supplier-level fuel pricing at all Epic locations in North America. In addition, the two companies will soon release details on jointly developed technologies.
