Delta Private Jets’ (DPJ) managed fleet nearly doubled and the company's revenue surged last year—increases DPJ attributes in part to the rollout of its Ownership Assist guaranteed revenue program. DPJ introduced Ownership Assist in June for its management fleet and since then has added 12 aircraft directly through the program.
COO John Daly noted the additions have fueled growth, increasing availability for jet card and charter customers. Last year "was a record year for the company in terms of revenue and fleet growth,” he said.
Jet Card sales improved by 17 percent last year and jumped another 20 percent last month, while charter sales grew 68 percent over the previous year, the company reported. DPJ’s jet card and charter customer base also expanded to more than 2,300, it added.
Recent fleet additions include a Cessna Citation CJ3, Bombardier Learjet 75, Cessna Citation X, Hawker 4000 and two Cessna Citation CJ2s, bringing Delta Private Jets' fleet to 64 aircraft.
DPJ is optimistic that growth will continue this year as it upgrades its services. The company recently expanded its onboard Wi-Fi capabilities to cover 100 percent of its controlled fleet, increased its DPJ tech service center availability to 24/7 and renovated its Delta Jet Center FBO.
