BizJet International has appointed Rick Townsend vice president for business development, aircraft maintenance and refurbishment. He will be responsible for developing narrow-body airframe MRO business as well as assisting with BizJet’s narrow-body completions sales. Previously Townsend worked at Ascent Aviation and AAR Aircraft Services providing MRO support solutions for narrow-body and regional jet operators. Townsend has more than 35 years of aviation experience and holds a bachelor's of science degree in business management, a commercial pilot certificate and an FAA repairman certificate.
