Seattle-based FBO consulting firm FBO Partners tapped industry veteran Alec Maguire as senior partner. Maguire and his father, commercial real estate developer Robert Maguire, founded Maguire Aviation at Van Nuys (Calif.) Airport and grew it into the largest FBO on the field. After acquiring several competing FBOs at Van Nuys and developing a dedicated facility for fractional provider NetJets, Maguire Aviation was sold to Signature Flight Support in December 2013.
"Alec brings substantial FBO development, real estate and branding experience to FBO Partners,” notes FBO Partners president Doug Wilson. “His experience growing Maguire Aviation into the largest FBO at the busiest general aviation airport is not only a credit to his business savvy, but underscores his strong marketing and branding capabilities, both of which are key assets to our clients."
Before founding Maguire Aviation, Maguire served as a corporate pilot and aircraft management vice president. He will practice out of California for FBO Partners.
