Bell Helicopter Breaks Ground on Jet Ranger X Plant
The new $26.3 million, 82,300-sq-ft hangar is slated for completion by June next year.
Bell Helicopter has started construction of the Bell 505 Jet Ranger X assembly facility in Lafayette, La. It expects to finish the building by June 2105 and start producing the light single turbine helicopter there by the end of that year, following FAA certification. (Photo: Bell Helicopter)
