Pro Line 21 Retrofit Certified for Hawker 800A
The retrofit brings Hawker 800A owners modern flight deck capabilities with the same displays found on the Hawker 900XP and 850XP.

Rockwell Collins has received FAA certification for its Pro Line 21 integrated display system (IDS) retrofit solution for Pro Line II-equipped Hawker 800As. The retrofit brings Hawker 800A owners modern flight deck capabilities with the same displays found on the Hawker 900XP and 850XP. The Pro Line 21 IDS retrofit replaces the legacy cathode ray tube displays in Hawker 800As with four large, configurable 10- by 8-inch liquid crystal displays that are capable of displaying high-resolution electronic charts, graphical weather, enhanced navigation maps, enhanced vision and a soon-to-be-released synthetic vision option.

“Updating legacy flight decks with Pro Line 21 IDS enables a number of key advantages including enhanced situational awareness, improved reliability and reduced maintenance cost,” said Craig Olson, vice president and general manager, Business and Regional Systems for Rockwell Collins. Operators that upgrade to Pro Line 21 IDS join a large and growing family of more than 4,500 aircraft that are positioned to display future mandates such as ADS-B out and Tcas II Change 7.1.”

A spokesman for Rockwell Collins told AIN the upgrade can be done by any Rockwell Collins-authorized dealer capable of meeting the supplemental type certificate requirements.
