He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in education from the University of Illinois, has taught aviation for over 35 years in industry and as a university professor and academic dean at three different universities. He is also a frequent seminar and after-dinner motivational speaker.&nbsp;
Lombardo holds an A&amp;P Certificate, ATP, CFI and Ground Instructor ratings. He was a corporate pilot and was a research pilot and flight instructor at the University of Illinois. Constant Aviation has received STC approval from Brazil’s ANAC to install Swiftbroadband Aviator 200 and Aircell GoGo Wi-Fi systems in the Phenom 300. “The approval allows the installation of a solution for worldwide in-flight Wi-Fi connections on Brazilian-registered aircraft. Our experience on the Phenom not only provides operators a reliable solution but also allows this STC to be installed at any of our three nationwide locations. The Aviator 200 equipment is smaller and lighter than other worldwide Wi-Fi solutions,” said Derek Morris, avionics design and engineering manager at Constant Aviation.
