Amac To Complete ACJ319 For Chinese Owner
The completion of an ACJ319 for a Chinese customer is Amac’s first contract in Asia.

Amac Aerospace has secured its first aircraft completions contract from an Asian customer. The Swiss-based group, which also provides maintenance and refurbishment services from its headquarters in Basel, will be handling all aspects of the completion of an Airbus ACJ319 using designs developed by interior designer Alberto Pinto.

The work is due to start this summer and will be delivered to the aircraft’s Chinese owner in the second quarter of 2015. This will be Amac’s third ACJ319 completion project.

The aircraft will incorporate exclusive materials such as mother of pearl paint for the exterior, earth color leathers for furnishings, black lacquers for the top and side surfaces and champagne gold satins for the plating. Carbon fiber will be used for the seats, sofas, side ledges and tables. The ACJ319 will have 10 business class seats, a shower, two lavatories and an aft gallery. The cabin will be reconfigurable for use by passengers on night flights.
