Gulfstream Aerospace realigned its product support organization last week to “enhance the customer experience” and position the division for growth. Mark Burns remains president of Gulfstream Product Support.

As part of the changes, 14-year Gulfstream veteran Charles Celli has been tapped to fill the newly created position of vice president of quality. He will oversee quality in all phases of aftermarket support at the company’s 11 worldwide service centers, as well as lead continuous improvement initiatives. Most recently Celli was vice president of operations at Gulfstream’s Savannah service center.

Other changes consolidate East Coast and international service center operations under the leadership of 36-year Gulfstream employee Barry Russell, who is now the vice president of Gulfstream Product Support’s East Coast operations. In his new role, he oversees operations at the company’s service centers in Savannah and Brunswick, Ga.; Westfield, Mass.; West Palm Beach, Fla.; Luton, England; Sorocaba, Brazil; and Beijing. Russell was previously vice president of customer support.

Derek Zimmerman, the former vice president of product support materials, is now the vice president of customer support, where he oversees material services, publications, computerized maintenance programs, customer relations, field service and technical operations. Joseph Rivera, formerly Gulfstream Product Support’s director of international operations, has been named general manager of the company’s 700,000-sq-ft Savannah service center.
