Bombardier Business Aircraft has two aircraft on display at the Abu Dhabi Air Expo show, both flying the colors of owners from the Gulf region. One is a Challenger 605, managed by Sharjah’s Gulf Wings and being shown on behalf of an unidentified Kuwaiti owner. The other is a Qatar Executive Global 5000, which is eliciting great interest from attendees. The company’s six-strong all-Bombardier fleet includes two G5000s, three Challenger 605s and one Global XRS. “For the Middle East’s traveling elite who want to travel in the utmost comfort and in the shortest amount of time to long-distance destinations, our Global 5000 is the business jet of choice,” said Qatar Airways CEO Akbar Al Baker, who is also head of the airline’s business jet division.
