Mena Aerospace and Tempus Jets Sign Joint-venture Agreement

Bahrain International Airport will be home to Mena Tempus, a new joint venture between Mena Aerospace Enterprises and Tempus Jet Centers (Tempus Jets). The new venture will focus on delivering aviation services to the Middle East.

Tempus Jets operates an aircraft maintenance, modification and interior completion facility in Brunswick, Maine, specializing in the Bombardier Global Express and Boeing and Airbus aircraft. Mena Aerospace, which has an aircraft hangar and office complex at Bahrain International Airport with additional offices in Saudi Arabia, holds numerous regional and international maintenance approvals. Mena Aerospace operates a mixed fleet of Boeing 737s and business jets.

Dr. Mohamed Juman, Mena Aerospace’s managing director, said, “The combining of Tempus’s capabilities with the Mena Group’s existing capabilities will provide an extremely effective platform from which to deliver an extensive array of complementary services to the aviation market across our footprint locally and regionally. The joint venture is intended to provide a direct link between Tempus Jet’s facilities in the U.S. and the customer base in the Gulf Region.”
