Heads Up Technologies Enhances Lumin System Content Choices

Heads Up Technologies (Booth No. 1421) has signed a content distribution agreement with Red Touch Media to provide access to an extensive library of digital content through Heads Up’s fiber-optic-based Lumin cabin management system and wireless media server.

With Lumin, private jet passengers can use an intuitive touchscreen user interface to access digital content. The system incorporates Blu-ray, digital audio libraries, Internet, seat-to-seat texting and cabin control functions. Lumin is featured in the new versions of Cessna’s Citation Sovereign and X and the soon-to-be-certified M2.

“We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Red Touch Media and our ability to expand in-flight entertainment options for passengers,” said Robert Harshaw, Heads Up Technologies president and CEO. “Implementing this solution will make movies, music and other content more readily available in flight. Our customers are used to selecting and streaming exceptional content to their personal smartphones and tablets at home. Now they will have that capability while in their aircraft.”
