The Airbus Corporate Jet Centre (ACJC) recently designed and installed an interior for an ACJ319 that included 15 new technologies in layout design, passenger comfort and systems. The aircraft, ACJCâs 24th ACJ completion, went to an undisclosed customer in the Middle East.
The configuration is based on two main zones for up to 19 passengers. The first zone is a wide and large forward dining and executive lounge for up to 12 passengers. It combines a work area consisting of one club-four and one club-two seating arrangement and a rest zone with two large sofas surrounding four mechanically actuated cocktail tables.
The second zone is an aft section that provides 10 private mini suites. According to the company, ACJC is the first completion center to have adapted that VIP suite to the configuration of an ACJ319. Each one features a large, fully flat, electrically actuated seat, a 32-inch TV screen and a local pad remote control to access in-flight entertainment services. It also includes a customized passenger flight information system, Internet connection, communication systems, lighting and temperature controls, a personal electrically actuated bar and many storage zones.
The suite areas are complemented by a âlarge and elegantâ aft bathroom, equipped with a full-height shower that incorporates a new timer system to provide the same quantity of hot water to every passenger. This zone also features innovations such as a floor heating system, a decorative serigraphy on mirrors and a marble lavatory.
In the main zones, ACJC integrated new electrically actuated window shades and some complex lighting systems, including a starlight network on the upholstered ceilings and in the carpets. A new mood-lighting system, based on RGBW technology, offers illumination options that include ânight ambiance.â
