Jet Aviation Basel has signed a contract to design and complete the cabin of an A340-600 long-range widebody for an undisclosed customer. Work on the green Airbus will begin in next year’s first quarter.
Configuration of the Airbus includes dining and lounge areas, two bedroom suites with adjoining bathrooms, office and executive seating areas as well as high-density seating at the back of the aircraft.
“Our in-house design studio is an integral part of our completions center, which enables our engineering and certification teams to validate design assumptions at the outset of the design concept phase to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction,” said Ruedi Kraft, vice president for market development and completions sales.
Jet Aviation Basel is a factory-approved service center for Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Dassault and Gulfstream.
