Jet Aviation Basel refurbished its maintenance customer lounge, expanding it to more than twice its original size. The 1,700-sq-ft space features the new corporate look and feel the company introduced at its Geneva FBO earlier this year. The lounge now offers a meeting room, kitchen, business center, reception area and dedicated customer service coordinator. Refurbishments include the removal of two walls to brighten and enlarge the lounge, as well as new furniture, office equipment, kitchen appliances and music and lighting systems. In addition, the lounge’s ventilation system was extended and replaced with flat pipes, thereby improving overall air circulation and enabling the ceiling to be raised.
“This entire project was initiated and completed to meet the needs of our maintenance customers and show them gratitude for their patronage,” said Johannes Turzer, vice president and general manager of the maintenance center at Jet Aviation Basel.
