Organizers NBAA and EBAA declared EBACE 2013, which concluded today in Geneva, a success, with 12,353 attendees walking through the doors of the three-day business aviation show. There were 460 exhibitors showing their wares and services, which is the third-highest exhibitor count ever. Additionally, 52 aircraft appeared on the largest static display in EBACE history by square footage.
Today was Student Day at EBACE, and a delegation of 40 university students from Spain, Belgium and Switzerland spent the day at the convention. In addition, EBAA and NBAA hosted a delegation of some 30 CEOs from Geneva-area companies with no experience using business aviation. The CEOs got a briefing on business aviation and how it operates before touring the exhibit floor and static display.
“Just like last year, EBACE has proved to be of great value to the business aviation community,” said NBAA president and CEO Ed Bolen. “It has been a place where the industry has rallied together, made new announcements and set a positive tone, all of which has the business aviation community looking forward to the future.”
