Charles Alcock is managing editor of the AIN Media Group, having rejoined the company in 2019. He has been an aviation journalist since 1986, and previously worked for AIN from 1990 to 2017, most recently as editor-in-chief. His main focus is on covering new aviation technology and business models, as well as international news.
Having been raised in the London area, Alcock studied at the University of Manchester in the UK and earned an honors degree in Politics and Modern History. He speaks English and French, and some German.

上海豪客太平洋提交申请几天后，也就是2008年8月3日，联邦航空管理局就停止接收海外维修站的申请，而美国交通安全管理局也尚未出台针对海外维修站的管理条例。1月中旬，联邦航空管理局的工作人员对上海进行了广泛的实地考察，并于2月12日颁发了维修证书。这次评估内容包括对上海豪客太平洋的当地员工的英语口语能力作出评定，以及对维护设备和维护指南进行仔细的检查。


“该证书标志着上海豪客太平洋为中国的公务航空业打造坚实的基础做出的坚持不懈的努力，已达到一个巅峰。”Mattews说。“亚洲有许多尚未注册的飞机是这里的常客。这里提供的飞机维修服务（MRO）为这类飞机提供了全面的支持，同时，我们认为这项能力对于将上海发展成为亚洲公务航空的中心来说至关重要。”


该维护中心坐落在上海虹桥机场，位于上海豪客太平洋的固定基地运营商（FBO）旁，占地面积达4万3057平方英尺，于2010年开放。上海豪客太平洋航空服务中心是由飞机服务集团豪客太平洋和上海机场集团共同出资建立的一家合资企业。


该公司是达索猎鹰和豪客比奇喷气机的授权服务中心，同时它还获得中国民航管理局的批准，为庞巴迪环球5000和环球快车/XRS飞机提供服务。去年，赛斯纳签署了一项谅解备忘录，认可上海豪客太平洋为其奖状系列飞机的授权服务中心。
