Esterline CMC Avionics on Display at Heli-Expo ’13
CMA-4000

Esterline CMC Electronics (Booth No. C4117) is demonstrating its flight management systems (FMS), wide area augmentation system (Waas) GPS receivers, electronic flight bags (EFBs) and portable mission displays here at Heli-Expo ‘13.

Among the avionics solutions the company is highlighting for the rotor market: its CMA-4000 single box flight management and display system, a night vision goggle-compatible system, is capable of managing radios, driving external MFDs and integrating with any set of navigation and mission sensors.

CMC’s CMA-5024 high-integrity Waas GPS receiver includes hover-hold certified by the FAA and Transport Canada for stand-alone approach operations, making safe hover operations accessible to a wider class of helicopters.

For EFB needs, CMC’s PilotView EFB provides efficient preflight planning help while increasing situational awareness in flight with moving maps, approach charts, EVS display and real-time weather data.

CMC’s compact TacView portable mission display is designed to improve situational awareness and paperless cockpit applications. The device can display full-size approach charts, moving maps and checklists and features an integrated sliding keyboard for data input.
