Rep. Larsen Becomes Ranking Member of U.S. House Aviation Subcommittee

Rep. Rick Larsen (D-Wash.) is now the top House Democrat on aviation issues after colleagues voted him to sit on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. He will also serve as the ranking member on the aviation subcommittee, which has jurisdiction over all aspects of civil aviation, including safety, infrastructure, labor, commerce and international issues. The subcommittee also oversees the FAA. Larsen represents Washington’s 2nd Congressional District, which includes the Everett factory where Boeing manufactures 747s, 767s, 777s, 787s and the 767-based Air Force KC-46A tanker.
