The Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago is in the process of accepting proposals from companies interested in operating the Executive Jet Centre, the FBO at Piarco International Airport on the island of Trinidad. The three-year-old facility, housed in the airport’s South terminal, features 8,400 sq ft of space, customs and immigration facilities, two VIP lounges with individual food preparation areas, two crew lounges, a conference room and staff rooms, and more than 700,000 sq ft of available ramp parking. The airports authority is seeking a service provider for a five-year contract.
The previous two RFP processes over the last two years were stopped because of non-compliance and irregularities in the submissions of the short-listed companies, according to an agency spokesman.
