With the annual Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition, set to run August 15-17 in SĂŁo Paulo, Brazil, as its platform, the fourth annual Business Aviation in Latin America (BALA) Summit is scheduled for August 16.
BALA is presented by London-based Aeropodium, and the chair for this year’s event is Embraer head of aircraft conceptual design Antonini Puppin Macedo. Other speakers include Mike Kahmann of CIT Aerospace, Joachim Kirsch and Jurgen Lochner of Porsche Consulting and Dorieldo Luis dos Prazeres of the Brazilian civil aviation agency.
Following the format of previous summits, BALA 2012 will “explore the latest developments in the business aviation sector of Latin America, as well as new challenges and business opportunities for the future.”
Aeropodium describes the summit as a networking opportunity for operators, aircraft manufacturers, banks, law firms, financial analysts, leasing and finance companies “and any aviation professional with an interest in the future of business aviation in the region.”
